WINDLESHAM HOUSE SCHOOL

Keep the same as current

Be ye wise as serpents, and harmless as doves

Windlesham House School nestled in 65 glorious acres of the stunning South Downs Countryside in West Sussex is an independent boarding and day school for boys and girls aged 4 – 13. Founded in 1837 Windlesham was the first school in the country to be established as a prep school. In 1967 became the first IAPS co-educational school giving every child the opportunity to reach their potential.

Last year we saw a record number of scholarships to senior schools with all candidates gaining places at their first choice of school. Whilst academic excellence & success are a high priority, we also nurture a caring, family atmosphere.

We believe schools are about children and they are the centre of everything we do. With us, they have time and space to be children, away from the pressures of competition & urban hothousing. Children are encouraged to try a host of sports & extra curricular activities & to learn about independence, interdependence and co-operation.
